The Regent Theatre has today announced that Stoke-on-Trent’s favourite panto star, Jonathan Wilkes, is back for this year’s panto Cinderella this festive season. Returning to the stage from Friday 12 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026, Jonny will star in the legendary role of Buttons.
Cinderella will mark Jonny’s fifth time treading the boards of the Regent Theatre stage in the role of Buttons. The panto star is no stranger to the stage, having enjoyed a varied career including lead roles in Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Guys and Dolls, and Grease, and held hosting duties on You’ve Been Framed and Love on a Saturday Night on television.
Jonny Wilkes said: “I’m so excited to be back at the Regent Theatre for another amazing panto season! Cinderella is such a fantastic show, and I can’t wait to bring the magic, laughter, and festive fun to Stoke-on-Trent once again. It’s always an honour to perform for the best audiences in the world!”
