6 Towns Radio Awards | Nominations

The nominations for the 6 Towns Radio Awards are NOW OPEN.

Following the announcement that the the 6 Towns Radio Awards will return in 2025, nominations for certain awards are NOW OPEN. 

If you know someone or a business who deserves recognition for their commitment to our area, now is the time to nominate them. Nominations can be made via:

• The dedicated nomination form below
• Social media (@6TownsRadio on X and Facebook) each category will have their own social media post to leave nominations under. 
• Email (Send your nomination to Awards@6Towns.co.uk with the nominee and the category clearly marked) 

The deadline for nominations is March 7th 2025, with the shortlist revealed and final voting opening on March 14th 2025 so be sure to get your entries in on time!

Heart of Gold Award

Someone who goes above and beyond for those around them, this can be an individual who makes a positive difference in our community. 

Community Group of the Year

A community group that meets regularly in our local area that keeps the community spirit alive. 

Oatcake Shop / Restaurant / Pub / Takeaway of the Year

Well, this one goes without saying! - we want to hear about your favourite eateries (and pub!) - Oatcake Shop of the Year is always hotly contested! 

Local Music Act of the Year (Original / Tribute and/or Cover) 

This year, we have split this into two separate categories to allow us to shout about the incredible talent we've got in our region. Nominate your favourite local musicians (and send us links to their stuff so we can enjoy them too!) 

Please note:  All nominees must be based in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme or the surrounding areas. The 6 Towns Radio Awards is free to enter, nominate and vote on, we will never ask for a fee to be included in the awards, and we will not, under any circumstance, accept any payment to include any business/individual in any of the categories.

There will be a small charge for tickets for the event at the Mitchell Arts Centre. However, shortlisted nominees will be able to claim two free tickets.
