About Me

I love listening to radio - radio 2, 3, 4 and Classic FM are some of my favourites. I've been involved with radio on a practical level for nearly 20 years with stations such as BBC Radio Kent, BBC Radio Stoke and Hospital Radio. Workwise, I was a teacher for many years and have also been involved with health, social care and research in a local, national and international context. I am also currently fundraising for the Donna Louise hospice. My hobbies include theatre, art, classic cars (marshalling), walking and travel.

Favorite Bands & Music

My tastes are varied. I love everything from the Black Eyed Peas to Bach! I love Jazz and some aspects of Folk (Fairport with Sandy Denny!) and appreciate World Music. I love to listen to bands from the 60s like Love and the Small Faces. I enjoy vintage and French music. I'm basically a person who prefers to put the CDs on rather than the TV!
