Katy Savage and Organ Donation

KATY SAVAGE INTERVIEW ON ANGELA SMITH EVENING SHOW

On Thursday 13th January Katy Savage spoke to Angela Smith on the evening show about the importance of being on the Donor Register.

Katy 21 an avid Stoke City fan who suffers from a rare condition Obliterative
Bronchiolitis is waiting for a double lung transplant at Harefield Hospital and
has been on the waiting list for the past 3½ years spoke to the program about
the importance of being on the donor register to give people who are awaiting
transplants the chance of life. Later discussions in the chat room and on air
found that this can now be easily done by having the information on your
driving licence. The importance of actually carrying the card was also discussed
and it was found that unless you carry the card this reduces the chance of your
wishes being recognised.
